Lois Kaplan Charitable Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse is
a charitable trust that provides funding to individuals and organizations
that offer services aimed at preventing and counseling victims of child
abuse through education and treatment.
The foundation raises money through private contributions. The team of trustees volunteer their time so that one hundred percent of the contributions can be used to fight child abuse by investing in programs that help victims and create community awareness about child abuse and neglect. Since its inception in 1996, the
foundation has raised enough in contributions to fund select projects by
partnering with Family Resources, Jewish Family & Children's Service
of Pittsburgh, The Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh, and our newest
partner The Children's Place at Home Safe.
